20-4708-Theft- 900 block of Bay Ridge Rd.

On December 1st at approximately 10:33am, officers responded to the 900 block of Bay Ridge Road for a shoplifting that just occurred. The reporting person stated that the suspect entered the store and stole a CVS electronic muscle therapy machine. The total loss value was $90.49.

20-4721 2nd Degree Burglary 200 block of Hilltop Ln.

On December 1st at approximately 9:17pm, officers responded to the 200 block of Hilltop Lane for a reported burglary to a shed. The victim advised that he observed that his rear patio gate was open. He then observed that the door to the shed on his rear patio was open and items had been removed from inside of the shed and placed outside. The victim stated that a spare key to his residence that he stores inside of the shed was missing. The total loss value was $2.50.

When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
