20-4635 - 200 block of Main St - Theft
On November 24th at approximately 7:56pm officers responded to the 200 block of Main Street for a reported theft from a business. The store employee advised that a male subject stole a hat valued at $20.00 from the business. A description of the male was provided to officers and a short time later he was located nearby wearing the stolen hat. The subject was identified as Gerard Mackell 10/24/62. Mackell was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number.
