20-4571-Theft from vehicle- 300 block of Riverview Ave.
On 11/20/20 at approximately 12:09 pm officers responded for a theft from a vehicle. The theft took place in the 300 block of Riverview Ave. The victim stated he noticed his vehicle was rummaged through. He advised the only thing missing were three identical US BANK debit cards that were not activated. He has already called the banks to cancel the cards.
20-4577 - Burglary- Unit block of W. Washington St.
On 11/20/20 at approximately 6:15 pm officers responded to the First Baptist Church of Annapolis in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival they spoke with an employee who advised that a safe and its contents had been taken from the church. He advised that the incident happened sometime between 14NOV20 and 20NOV20. The room that the safe was in is usually locked, but it was found to be unlocked. There were no signs of forced entry, and multiple members of the church have keys to this room. The safe was reported to contain numerous blank checks.
20-4583- Theft of Vehicle- Unit block of IronStone Ct.
On 11/21/20 at approximately 9:10 am officers responded to the unit block of Ironstone Court for a vehicle theft. The victim reported that his green and black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle bearing MD Tag 205Y75 was stolen.
20-4584- Burglary- 100 block of Conduit St.
On 11/21/20 at approximately 9:23 am officers responded to the 100 block of Conduit Street for a burglary. The victim reported that she accidently left her front door unlocked. A suspect entered her residence and took her Apple macbook and Louis Vitton purse. The total loss value was $2,600.00.
20-4585-Burglary- Unit block of City Gate Ln.
On 11/21/20 at approximately 10:08 am officers responded to the unit block of City Gate Lane for a burglary. The victim reported that someone entered her unlocked home and stole her cowhide purse. Total Loss Value was $50.00
20-4587- Theft- 100 block of Hillsmere Dr.
On 11/21/20 at approximately 12:34 pm officers responded to the 100 block of Hillsmere Drive for a theft that just occurred.A store employee reported that the suspect entered the store and stole two Helly Hansen coats and a Yeti cooler. The suspect left before officers arrived. Total loss value was $669.99
20-4496- Burglary- Unit block of Lafayette Ave.
On 11/22/20 at approximately 8:46 am officers responded to the unit block of Lafayette Ave. for a burglary. The victim stated that someone broke into his home and stole his PS4,10 PS4 games, 6 bottles of liquor and $100.00 US currency. Total loss value was $1,040.00.
20-4601-Robbery- 100 block of Dogwood Rd.
On 11/22/20 at approximately 4:24 pm officers responded to the 100 block of Dogwood Road for a strong arm robbery. A 7 year old boy was riding his bike when 3 unknown juveniles pushed him off of it and took it without permission. The victim was not injured in this incident. The Redline bicycle was valued at $250.00.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number.
