20-4533- Theft- 900 block of President St.
On 11/17/20 at approximately 9:40am officers responded to the 900 block of President Street for a reported theft. The victim advised that a package containing an auto part was stolen from his doorstep. Total loss value was $101.99.
20-4535- Theft from vehicle- 200 block of Chatham Ln.
On 11/17/20 at approximately 12:56pm officers responded to the 200 block of Chatham Court for a reported theft from a vehicle. The victim advised that her vehicle was broken into and her wallet was stolen. Total loss value to the victim was $55.00.
20-4537-Theft from vehicle- 200 block of Chatham Ln.
On 11/17/20 at approximately 1:30pm officers responded to the 200 block of Chatham Lane for a reported theft from a vehicle. The victim advised that his vehicle was broken into. A pair of Ray Ban sunglasses were stolen from the vehicle. Total loss value was $200.00.
Thanksgiving Food Drive
The Annapolis Police Department will be accepting donations of food for a Thanksgiving Food Drive from 11/01 to 11/20. We will be providing Thanksgiving meals to local families and donating the remaining food to local food pantries.
What we need:
5# bags of potatoes, 2# bags of onions, jars of gravy, cans of cranberry sauce, cans of sweet potato, cans of green beans, bags or boxes of stuffing, cans of cream of mushroom soup and french fried onions. Other items needed are boxed pastas and pasta sauce, peanut butter and jelly, cereal, soups and other canned meals, boxed macaroni and cheese, healthy snacks like breakfast bars and dried fruit, and baby food.
Please check expiration dates, expired food will not be accepted. You can drop off donations any time at the police department at 199 Taylor Avenue.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number.
