Annapolis Police Department Daily Report

20-4347 - Theft (from vehicle) - Unit block of Heritage Court 

On Nov. 4th at approximately 6:00 am officers responded to the area of Heritage Ct. for the report of a theft from a vehicle. Officers responded and met with the victim who advised that her vehicle had been ransacked. The vehicle was checked and a pack of cigarettes was believed to be the only thing missing. 

Total loss value to the victim was $6.00


While in the area, officers were notified by other residents in reference to their vehicle also being broken into; see following

20-4347 Supp - Theft (from vehicle) - Unit block of Heritage Ct. $1500 US currency from the glove box of the vehicle was stolen. 

20-4347 Supp - Theft (from vehicle) - Unit block of Heritage Ct. Vehicle rummaged through, but nothing was known to be missing at this time.

20-4347 Supp - Theft (from vehicle) - 400 block of Merryman Rd. Vehicle rummaged through, but nothing was known to be missing at this time. 

20-4347 Supp - Theft (from vehicle) - 400 block of S. Cherry Grove Ave.  2 skateboards taken from the vehicle. Total loss value to the victim was  $276.00

20-4349 - Theft (from vehicle) - 200 block of Hilltop Lane 2 North Face jackets were stolen, a backpack and $100.00. Total loss value to the victim was $470.00.


20-4350 - Theft (vehicle wheels) - 600 block of Americana Dr.  

Officers responded to the parking lot of the 600 block of Americana Drive for a report of theft. Upon arrival officers observed a black 2018 Infiniti Q60 bearing MD tag: 9CB2566 missing all four wheels.  The vehicle's owner stated that he parked his vehicle in the parking lot on November 2, 2020 at 6:00 pm  and discovered them to be missing on November 4, 2020 at approximately 7:50 am.

Total loss value to the victim was approximately $2,400.


20-4350 Supp - Theft (vehicle wheels) - 700 block of Americana Dr. 

Officers responded to the 700 block of Americana Drive for the report of a theft from a vehicle. The caller advised his rims and wheels were stolen. Upon arrival, officers observed a silver 4 door Toyota Camry bearing Maryland registration 4EJ1911 sitting on what appeared to be cinder-blocks.The driver side window was also broken out. Total loss value to the victim was $1,600.


20-4359 - Theft (from vehicle) -  200 block of Hilltop Lane 

 Officers responded to the 200 block of Hilltop Ln. in reference to a theft from auto. Officers spoke with the victim who advised that an unknown subject rummaged through his vehicle. 


20-4360 - Theft (from vehicle) - 200 block of Boxwood Rd. 

 Officers responded to the 200 block of Boxwood Road for the report of a theft from auto. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who stated that she noticed that her pink and blue change purse containing approximately $10.00 in quarters and (1) one "Vogue" brand prescription sunglasses with a brown/gold tortoise on it, were missing from the vehicle.

Total loss value to the victim was approximately $165.00.


20-4357 - Assault (1st degree) - 1000  Paddington Place 

On Nov. 4th at approximately 12:00 pm officers responded to the 1000 block of Paddington Place for the report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers met with several witnesses who advised that Stephen Faudree and another adult male were arguing about the cleanliness of the bathroom. Faudree threatened the victim with a taser. The victim left the residence and went to his friend's residence also located in the 1000 block of Paddington Place in an attempt to get away from Faudree. At some point Faudree was in possession of a pocket knife, which was used in the altercation, causing a laceration to the victims hand. Faudree was placed under arrest for the assault. 


20-4364 - Assault - 1200 block of Gemini Dr. 

On Nov. 4th at approximately 5:50 pm officers responded to the 1200 block of Gemini Drive for an assault in progress. Upon arrival officers determined that two adult males were involved in a physical altercation following a domestic related incident. Jose Manzanares assaulted the victim by punching him several times. Manzanares was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.


20-4365 - Assault - 300 block of Center St. 

On Nov. 4th at approximately 7:13 pm  officers responded to the 300 block of Center Street for a reported assault. Officers spoke with the adult female victim who stated that she was assaulted by an unknown male. The victim said that the male threatened her with a knife, the victim was not injured and no arrests were made.



Thanksgiving Food Drive

The Annapolis Police Department will be accepting donations of food for a Thanksgiving Food Drive from 11/01 to 11/20. We will be providing Thanksgiving meals to local families and donating the remaining food to local food pantries.

What we need:
 5# bags of potatoes, 2# bags of onions, jars of gravy, cans of cranberry sauce, cans of sweet potato, cans of green beans, bags or boxes of stuffing, cans of cream of mushroom soup and french fried onions. Other items needed are boxed pastas and pasta sauce, peanut butter and jelly, cereal, soups and other canned meals, boxed macaroni and cheese, healthy snacks like breakfast bars and dried fruit, and baby food.

Please check expiration dates, expired food will not be accepted. You can drop off donations any time at the police department at 199 Taylor Avenue.





Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19 
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number. Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland


Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program:  The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft.  A small sticker will be placed on your rear window.  This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.  For more information about the program contact us at police@annapolis.gov.
