20-4162- Burglary- 900 block of Forest Hills Ave.
On October 23rd at 10:29am officers responded to the 900 block of Forest Hills Ave. for a burglary that occurred earlier. The victim reported that an unknown person forced his rear door open and rummaged through an upstairs bedroom. The victim was not home at the time of the burglary.
20-4178 - Shooting - Annapolis
On October 23rd at 11:39pm officers responded to AAMC in reference to a shooting. The adult male victim was suffering from a gunshot wound to a lower extremity. The victim refused to provide responding officers with information as to where the shooting occurred or any other details needed to complete a proper investigation.
20- 4172 - Theft from Vehicle -Unit block of State Circle
On October 24th at 5:52pm a theft from a vehicle was reported in the unit block of State Circle.The victim reported that while his vehicle was on State Circle an unknown person gained entry to it. A garage door opener, checkbook and $15.00 was stolen.
20-4182- Theft- Unit block of S. Monroe Street
On October 25th at 8:57am officers responded to APD in reference to a theft of a bicycle. The victim advised his orange Surly Mountain bike (serial number unknown) was stolen. The bike was located in the rear yard of his residence on South Monroe Street at the time of the theft. The bike was valued at $800.00.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number.
