20-4098-Theft-900 block of Forest Drive
On October 20th at approximately 5:36 am officers responded to the 900 block of Forest Drive in reference to a theft that occurred over night. The General Manager of the business advised that an unknown person removed a fire pit from the front of the business. The fire pit was valued at $109.00.
20-4102-Burglary-1100 block of Smithville Street
On October 20th at approximately 11:40am officers responded to the 1100 block of Smithville Street in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim who advised she received a RING Camera notification on her cell phone. The video footage showed a person enter the residence through the front door. The person proceeded to the victims bedroom and stole several pieces of jewelry before leaving the residence. The value of the stolen jewelry is unknown at this time.
20-4106-Theft from vehicle -2400 block of Solomons Island Road
On October 20th at approximately 3:01pm officers responded to the 2400 block of Solomons Island Road in reference to a theft from vehicle. Upon arrival officers met with the victim who advised his vehicle was broken into. The victim advised his rear passenger window was pried open and the suspect(s) took his briefcase containing an Apple laptop, an iPad, a checkbook and a bag containing miscellaneous items. Total loss value to the victim was $3,250.
20-4108-Theft from vehicle-Unit block of Old Solomons Island Road
On October 20th at approximately 3:20 pm officers responded to the unit block of Old Solomons Island Road in reference to a theft from vehicle. The victim advised that an unknown person broke the rear window out of her vehicle and stole her Coach purse. Total loss value to the victim was $50.00.
20-4106-Theft-200 block of West Street
On October 20th at approximately 2:40pm officers responded to the 200 block of West Street in reference to a theft. The victim advised he parked his blue in color mountain bike unsecured in front of the business, when he came out of the business 20 minutes later, it was gone. Total loss value to the victim was $150.00.
20-4115 Theft from vehicle- 1100 block of Tyler Avenue
On October 20th at approximately 10:34 pm officers responded to the 1100 block of Tyler Ave. for a reported theft. The victim reported that an unknown person entered her vehicle and stole her purse and cell phone. Total loss value to the victim was $1,100.
