In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police Department has responded to 98 calls for service and arrested 6 people.
20-4022- Theft- 100 block of Hillsmere Drive
On October 15th at approximately 8:37pm officers responded to the 100 block of Hillsmere Drive for a reported theft.. An employee of the business said that an unknown male entered the business and stole two Yeti coolers. Total loss value to the business was $400.00.
20-4033 Fraud 1200 block of Gemini Dr.
On October 15th at approximately 10:52pm officers responded to the 1200 block of Gemini Drive for a reported fraud. The victim advised that she received a message on facebook from a subject she thought she knew. That subject threatened the victim and requested that she purchase ebay gift cards and provide the code to each card via facebook messenger. The victim also sent cash via mail to an address in Texas. Total loss value to the victim was $3000.

Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number.
