In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 104 calls for service and arrested 3 people.
Stabbing - 202000003729 - 0-99 Cypress Rd - 9/25 at 12:25am: Officers responded to the unit block of Cypress Rd for a report of a stabbing. An adult male victim was located and transported to a local hospital. While on scene there was a report of a second victim at Thom Ct. A second victim was located and transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Property was stolen from one of the victims. Detectives are investigating this incident. This is an active and fluid investigation and we urge anyone with information about this incident to contact our detectives at 410-260-3439 . Theft from Vehicle - 202000003723 - 200-299 Hilltop Ln. - 9/23 at 6pm to 9/24 at 7am: A RIGID tool bag with tools, a Redmax backpack leaf blower, a STIHL chainsaw and miscellaneous tools were stolen from the locked vehicle. The front passenger window was broken to gain entry into the vehicle.
Theft of Package - 202000003721 - 0-99 Melrob Ct. - 9/23 at 12pm to 9/24 at 3:45pm: An unknown subject removed a package containing clothing from the front door of the residence.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number.
