In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police Department responded to 124 calls for service and arrested 7 people.
20-3565- Theft from Vehicle-Unit block of Tiburon Ct.
On September 16th at approximately 2:39pm officers responded for a theft from a vehicle in the unit block of Tiburon Court. The victim advised that a set of keys were taken from her vehicle. There was no forced entry into the vehicle.
At approximately 4:45pm officers responded back to Tiburon Court in reference to three additional attempted theft from vehicles. There was no forced entry into any of the vehicles and nothing was taken.
20-3576 Shots Fired -1100 block of Madison St.
At approximately 8:51 pm officers were on foot patrol in the Harbour House community when they heard approximately 10-12 shots fired. Officers were directed and responded to the area of 1100 Madison St and located the crime scene. Ten shell casings were located on President St in the grassy area in front of 1100 Madison St. The bedroom window to one apartment was struck by gunfire and the projectile was later located inside of the residence. The area was checked for victims and additional damage with negative results. Detectives as well as forensic services responded to the scene to assume the investigation.
20-3578 2nd Degree Assault -1100 block of Pinemont Pl.
On September 17th at approximately 2:17am officers responded to the area of 1100 Pinemont Place for a disturbance call. Upon arrival the officers spoke with the complainant . The complainant was unhappy with the services of the officers and as they were leaving she spit on one of the officers. The adult female was placed under arrest and charged with assault. She was identified as Pascal Freeman , Freeman was transported to the station where she was processed.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number.
