In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police Department responded to 98 calls for service and arrested 7 people
20-3492 - Stolen Vehicle - Second Street or Fourth Street
On September 10th at approximately 2:34 pm a stolen vehicle was reported. The victim reported that he parked his vehicle in the area between Second Street St and Fourth St. over a week ago. When the victim returned to retrieve his vehicle it was gone. The vehicle was described as a 2008 Toyota 4Runner bearing Maryland tag 3AY6076.
20-3495 - Theft - 400 block of Sixth Street
On September 10th officers responded to the 400 block of sixth Street for a reported theft of a bicycle. The victim advised that her Giant bicycle was stolen from the rear of that address. The bike was valued at $500.
20-3501 - Burglary - Unit block of West Street
On September 10th Officers responded to the Annapolis Visitors Center located in the unit block of West Street for an alarm. Upon arrival, an unsecured side door was located. The building was searched but no one was located inside. No items were reported stolen from the building.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number.
