In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police Department responded to 107 calls for service and arrested 4 people.
20-3391- Theft from Auto- 100 block of Hillsmere Dr.
On September 3rd at approximately 8:15am officers responded for a theft from a vehicle. The complainant reported at 7:30am she parked her car and walked into Quiet Waters Park. When she returned to her vehicle she recognized that her front passenger window was smashed and her purse was missing. Inside of her purse were credit cards and $700.00 U.S. currency.
20-3401 - Burglary- Unit block of Sandstone Ct.
On September 4th at approximately 1:30am officers responded to the unit block of Sandstone Court for a reported burglary. The complainant reported that her ex boyfriend gained entry into her residence and woke her up. Once the complainant was awake the subject left without further incident. It is believed that the subject made entry through an unlocked door.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number.
