20-3360 - Burglary - 1800 block of Virginia St.
On September 1st at approximately 7:14 am Officers responded to a business located in the 1800 block of Virginia St for the report of a burglary that occurred over night. Officers met with the complainant who stated that when he arrived at his business there was evidence a burglary occurred. Several automobile items were stolen from the business with a total loss value of $6,752.
20-3361 - Theft from vehicle - Unit block of Peale Ct.
On September 1st at approximately 10:44am Officers responded to the unit block of Peale Ct for a theft from auto.Officers met with the victim who advised that his vehicle was broken into overnight. Two credit cards and four tire deflators were stolen from the vehicle.
20-3363 - Theft - 100 block of West St
On September 1st at approximately 11:33am Officers responded to the 100 block of West Street for a report of a theft . Officers spoke with the victim who advised that he obtained a ride from an unknown subject to a local bank. After withdrawing $3200 from his bank the victim was driven back to the 100 block of West Street. The victim told officers that while he was exiting the unknown subjects vehicle the envelope containing the $3200 was removed from his pocket.
20-3366 - Theft - 900 block of Bay Ridge Ave.
On September 1st at approximately 1:30pm Officers responded to the 900 block of Bayridge Ave. for the report of a theft that had just occurred involving 3 individuals . The individuals responsible for the theft were located nearby and arrested as they were still in possession of the stolen items which included several hygiene items. Total loss value was $127.31.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number.
