This is a free workshop series (6 total) centered around retail businesses as they are learning how to survive and thrive in the changing economy. In these highly interactive sessions, participants will explore essential business considerations and best practices for navigating uncertainty, including everyday operations, financials, safety, sales, marketing, and community.

The Annapolis Small Business Recovery Task Force's Business Advisory Committee provides free counseling to Annapolis small business owners. If you would like business advice from a member of the committee, please fill out the intake form. Areas of support include: cash management, finance, management and operations, ecommerce, information technology, legal, human resources, and marketing assistance.

NEW FDA COVID-19 Checklist for the Food Industry
With help from both the CDC and OSHA, the FDA announced a new resource for the food industry called the “Employee Health and Food Safety Checklist for Human and Animal Food Operations During the COVID-19 Pandemic.” The document is broken down into two key parts: the Employee Health and Social Distancing Checklist and the Food Safety Checklist.
Census Deadline Extended
The date for self-response to the 2020 Census is September 30 after the US Census Bureau moved up the date this week by more than a month. Census takers will be making in-person visits to all households that have not yet completed their Census starting August 11. The Census can still be completed online, by phone, or by mail. Fill out your Census now.
