20-3349 - Burglary - Unit block of West St.
On August 31st at approximately 12:06 pm Officers responded to the unit block of West Street for the report of a theft. Officers met with the complainant who advised that on 08/29/2020 at approximately 9:56pm security cameras captured an unknown person enter the office space. The suspect was captured on video footage rummaging around the office space before taking Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Total loss value was $80.00.
20-3350 - Theft - 100 block of Duke of Gloucester
On August 31st at approximately 11:44am Officers responded to the 100 block of Duke of Gloucester St for a report of a theft. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the complainant who advised that sometime over the past week and a half, a black metal and glass decorative lantern was taken from the front porch. At this time it is unknown when exactly the theft occurred. There is no suspect information.Total loss value was $150.00.
20-3351 - Theft from vehicle - Unit block of Silverwood Cir.
On August 31st at approximately 1:29pm Officers made contact with the complainant via the phone for the report of a theft from a vehicle that occurred on the night of August 29th. The complainant stated that his wallet was stolen from the vehicle.
20-3353 - Theft - 900 block of Forest Dr.
On August 31st at approximately 1:51pm Officers made contact with the complainant over the phone for the report of a theft that occurred at a business located in the 900 block of Forest Drive. The complainant advised that an unknown person entered the store and stole three bottles of Tide laundry detergent. Total loss value was $29.97
20-3356 - Strongarm Robbery -Unit block of Compromise Street
On August 31st at approximately 7:53 pm a victim who was identified as an adult male walked into the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel located at 80 Compromise St and reported to hotel staff he was beaten and robbed of personal property (his backpack). Hotel staff noted injuries and called 911.The 911 call resulted in both the Annapolis Fire Department (AFD) and the Annapolis Police Department (APD) being dispatched. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Total loss value was $1,027.

The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number.
