20-3229 - Rape - 1300 block of Tyler Ave.
On August 21st at approximately 3:00pm an adult female responded to Annapolis Police Department and reported that at approximately 1:00pm she was raped by a male acquaintance at a residence in the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue. Detectives are currently investigating this incident and anyone with information is urged to contact them at 410-260-3439.
20-3230 - Theft - 100 block of Hillsmere Dr.
On August 21st at approximately 5:00pm officers responded to a business located in the 100 block of Hillsmere Drive for a theft report. Officers were advised that a male subject entered the business and stole several things of laundry detergent. Total loss value to the business was $22.95.
20-3243 - Theft - 200 block of West St.
On August 22nd at approximately 2:17pm Officers responded to the 200 block of West Street for the report of a theft from auto that occurred over the night. The victim advised he parked his vehicle at approximately 9:00pm on August 21st in the rear parking area of his home. The victims wallet was stolen from the vehicle which contained $600 in U.S. Currency.
20-3249 - Theft - 900 block of Bay Ridge Rd.
On August 22nd at approximately 10:30 pm officers responded to a business located in the 900 block of Bay Ridge Road for a report of a theft. The manager of the business advised that an adult female entered the business and stole several hygiene items. Total loss value to the business was $66.04.
20-3260 - Assault - 700 block of Newtowne Dr.
On August 23rd Officers responded to AAMC for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed that an adult male was in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive when he was struck in the head from behind. The victim lost consciousness and was unable to provide a suspect description. He was transported to the hospital by a family member.
