In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police Officers responded to 90 calls for service and arrested 4 people.
20-2917/Theft /400 block of Captains Circle
On July 28th at approximately 1:30 pm officers responded for a theft in the 400 block of Captains Circle. The victim reported that $1,000.00 was taken from her wallet. The victim is familiar with the person who she believes stole the money.
20-2926/ Shooting/ 1800 block of Bowman Court
On July 28th at approximately 7:46 pm Annapolis Police Department began receiving calls for shots fired in the 1800 block of Bowman Drive. Officers responded to the area and it was determined that a shooting did occur. A 17 year old was shot in a lower extremity and transported to a local hospital. The victims injuries are believed to be non life threatening. Additional information will be released as it becomes available and appropriate to release.

20-2927/ Attempted strong armed robbery/ 1300 block of Tyler Ave.
On July 28th at approximately 8:45 pm officers responded to the 1300 block of Tyler Ave for a report of an attempted strong armed robbery. The victim advised that several persons approached her and attempted to take her purse. The victim refused to give them her purse at which point she was assaulted.
