On July 20th at approximately 10:00 am a theft was reported at the Veterans Cemetery. Between 8:30 am and 9:45 am two Echo backpack blowers were stolen while the grass was being cut. One blower was left outside an unsecured enclosed trailer and the other was stolen from inside the trailer. Total loss value was $1,200.

On July 20th at aprroximately 3:10 pm a theft was reported that occurred on July 17th. A full size Mainstay futon mattress was delivered to the wrong address. When the intended recipient checked that address the mattress was not there. Total loss value was $210.00. 20-2808 - Burglary - Melrob Ct
On July 20th at approximately 6:30 pm there was a reported burglary. The victim said that an unknown person gained entry into his residence and stole several electronic items. The stolen items included video games, a Sony playstation and two laptops. Total loss value to the victim was $4,028

The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting.
