June 25 - Conversations with the Chief
In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 108 calls for service and arrested 5 people.
Burglary - 202000002330 - 0-99 Clay Street - 06/17 at 3pm to 10:15pm : The resident returned home and found a rear door frame was damaged. Jewelry, watches and checkbooks were stolen from the residence.
Shots Fired - 202000002325 - Dorsey Ave at Kirby La - 06/17 at 4pm: Officers responded to the area for a report of shots fired. No victims or suspects were located.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number.
