June 16 - Conversations with the Chief
In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 326 calls for service and arrested 11 people.
Burglary - 202000002285 - 0-99 Market Space - 06/14 at 11:45pm to 12am: Officers responded for a call of a burglary. Officers discovered that two unknown males entered the location through an unlocked door and stole approximately 40 salmon fillets.
Theft of Package - 202000002271- 0-99 Pleasant St - 06/13 at 7:30pm to 6/14 at 8:30am: Packages were stolen from the front porch of the residence by an unknown subject.
Stolen & Recovered Vehicle - 202000002259 - 1700-1799 Forest Dr - 06/13 at 12:15pm: A vehicle was stolen from the parking lot. The vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside. The stolen vehicle was recovered unoccupied in Anne Arundel County.
Stolen Motorcycle -202000002256 - 600-699 Americana Dr - 06/12 at 9pm to 06/13 at 9am: A dark grey with blue wheels 2015 Yamaha FZ07 motorcycle with Missouri temporary reg. GY 9XU was stolen from the parking lot.
Stolen Motorcycle - 202000002255 - 600-600 Americana Dr - 06/12 at 9pm to 06/13 at 9am: An orange 2020 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle with MD temporary reg. 339654T was stolen from the parking lot.
Recovered Handgun - 202000002253 - 700-799 Newtowne Dr - 06/12 at 7:20pm:
Officers responded to the area for a report of a subject with a handgun. When officers arrived a group of people dispersed. Officers checked the area and located a handgun lying under a bush in the area.
Theft of Package - 202000002244 - 400-499 Captains Cir - 06/09 at 9:15am to 9:45am: A package containing perfume was stolen from the front of the residence by an unknown subject.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number.
