June 11 – Rescheduled - Spring Fling Scholarship Fundraiser – Market House
In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 73 calls for service and arrested 4 people.
Stolen/Recovered Vehicle - 202000001941 - 1400-1499 Tyler Ave - 05/19 at 11:30pm: At 11:30pm officers responded to the 1400 block of Tyler Ave for the report of a motor vehicle collision. Investigation revealed that the vehicle involved in the collision, a 2018 Toyota Highlander, was stolen a half hour earlier from the 1200 block of Barbud Lane. The suspect(s) fled prior to the officers arrival.
Burglary - 202000001940 - 100-199 Main St - 05/19 at 10:30pm: Officers responded to the area for an intrusion alarm and discovered that access had been gained to the business. Officers searched the area and located the suspect. Gordon Collins, 36, was arrested and charged with burglary and four other charges related to the incident. He is being held without bond at the detention center.
Theft of Tags - 202000001937 - 1700-1799 Belle Dr - 05/18 at 6pm to 05/19 at 3pm: The front tags, Maryland registration 8DW3552, were stolen from the vehicle.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number. On May 15, under Governor Hogan's order Anne Arundel County shifted from a Stay at Home order to a Safer at Home public health advisory. Per the Executive Order, people are required to wear masks or cloth facial coverings in retail spaces and on public transportation.
Due to COVID 19, citizen fingerprinting has been cancelled until further notice.

RESCHEDULED - Spring Fling Scholarship Fundraiser
The Annapolis Police Department benefit for the Annapolis Police Scholarship Fund has been rescheduled to 06/11 at the Annapolis Market House. The event starts at 6pm for VIP tickets and at 7pm for standard tickets. Tickets range in price from $45 to $75. There will be food from Paladar, the Market House, Tarin Thai, Mission BBQ and Park Deli.
