In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 56 calls for service and arrested no one.
Theft of Tag - 202000001682 - 1000-1099 Martha Lane - 4/27 at 2pm to 4/30 at 9am: The front tags, MD registration 92552CG, were stolen from the vehicle.
Theft from Auto - 202000001683 - 1200-1299 Gemini Dr - 4/29 at 7pm to 4/30 at 10am: A green Vera Bradley purse containing prescription sunglasses, a mini Ipad and miscellaneous items were stolen from the unlocked vehicle.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number. On April 15, Governor Hogan announced an Executive Order that all Marylanders are required to wear masks or cloth facial coverings in retail spaces and on public transportation.

On Monday, March 30th, Governor Hogan issued a Stay-at-Home Order. The STAY-AT-HOME ORDER means that no Maryland resident should be leaving their home unless it is for an essential job or for an essential reason, such as obtaining food or medicine, seeking urgent medical attention, or for other necessary purposes - to include exercising. The Governor's Executive Order requires all law enforcement agencies in the State of Maryland, including the Annapolis Police Department, to enforce the Order.
Due to COVID 19, citizen fingerprinting has been cancelled until further notice.

RESCHEDULED - Spring Fling Scholarship Fundraiser
The Annapolis Police Department benefit for the Annapolis Police Scholarship Fund has been rescheduled to 06/11 at the Annapolis Market House. The event starts at 6pm for VIP tickets and at 7pm for standard tickets. Tickets range in price from $45 to $75. There will be food from Paladar, the Market House, Tarin Thai, Mission BBQ and Park Deli.
