In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 80 calls for service and arrested one person.
Theft of Package - 202000001538 - 1200-1299 Oak Hill Place - 04/14 from 6pm to 9 pm: A package delivered to the building was stolen from the front vestibule.
Burglary - 202000001530 - 200-299 Croll Dr - 04/13 from 11am to 2pm: A X-Box game console was stolen from the residence. There were no signs of forced entry.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number. On April 14, County Executive Steuart Pittman and Anne Arundel Health Officer
Dr. Nilesh Kalyanaraman jointly announced an Order for Public Safety that requires shoppers to wear face coverings in retail stores beginning Wednesday, April 15. Employees of retail stores will also be required to wear face coverings in any area of the store where they are likely to come in contact with coworkers or the public.

On Monday, March 30th, Governor Hogan issued a Stay-at-Home Order. The STAY-AT-HOME ORDER means that no Maryland resident should be leaving their home unless it is for an essential job or for an essential reason, such as obtaining food or medicine, seeking urgent medical attention, or for other necessary purposes - to include exercising. The Governor's Executive Order requires all law enforcement agencies in the State of Maryland, including the Annapolis Police Department, to enforce the Order.

RESCHEDULED Spring Fling Scholarship Fundraiser
The Annapolis Police Department benefit for the Annapolis Police Scholarship Fund has been rescheduled to 06/11 at the Annapolis Market House. The event starts at 6pm for VIP tickets and at 7pm for standard tickets. Tickets range in price from $45 to $75. There will be food from Paladar, the Market House, Tarin Thai, Mission BBQ and Park Deli.
