In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 88 calls for service and arrested no one.
Home Invasion Robbery - 202000001449 - 0-99 Marcs Court - 04/06 at 11:30pm: An adult female victim reported that two unknown males forced their way inside her home and struck her in the face with a gun. The suspects forced the victim into her bedroom, displaying handguns and demanding money. The suspects took US currency and the victim’s cell phone and fled in an unknown direction.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number. Our non-emergency phone number is 410-268-4141.
On Monday, March 30th, Governor Hogan issued a Stay-at-Home Order. The STAY-AT-HOME ORDER means that no Maryland resident should be leaving their home unless it is for an essential job or for an essential reason, such as obtaining food or medicine, seeking urgent medical attention, or for other necessary purposes - to include exercising. The Governor's Executive Order requires all law enforcement agencies in the State of Maryland, including the Annapolis Police Department, to enforce the Order.
Citizen fingerprinting has been cancelled through April 20, 2020. At this time we plan to restart citizen fingerprinting on Monday, April 27th at 6:30pm. There may be continued cancellations of citizen fingerprinting announced at a later date.

RESCHEDULED Spring Fling Scholarship Fundraiser
The Annapolis Police Department benefit for the Annapolis Police Scholarship Fund has been rescheduled to 06/11 at the Annapolis Market House. The event starts at 6pm for VIP tickets and at 7pm for standard tickets. Tickets range in price from $45 to $75. There will be food from Paladar, the Market House, Tarin Thai, Mission BBQ and Park Deli.
