In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 68 calls for service and arrested 5 people.
Theft from Vehicle – 202000001298 & 202000001305 – 00-99 Murray Av – 03/23 at 9pm to 03/24 at 2:30pm: Two apparently unlocked vehicles were entered and a wallet was stolen from one of the vehicles, but nothing was stolen from the other.
Theft of Bicycle – 202000001301 – 100-199 Dock St – 03/09, 03/10, 03/11 or 03/12 from 10pm to 11pm: A tan Polygon Siskiu D7 “Dropper Edition” bicycle with red trim and wheels was stolen when it was left unsecured outside a business.
Stolen Vehicle – 202000001308 – 1700-1799 Forest Dr – 03/23 at 6am to 03/24 at 5:50pm: A black 2002 Honda Civic four door sedan, with MD reg. 5EE2575, was stolen. The vehicle has silver clip-on rims and dark tinted windows. The owner believes he may have dropped the key to the vehicle outside, after parking the vehicle.
Burglary – 202000001313 – 700-799 Giddings Av – 03/25 at 2:45am: Officers responded for an intrusion alarm at the pharmacy and discovered the front door forced open. Officers searched the business, but did not locate anyone. It is unclear what was stolen from the business at this time.
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number. RESCHEDULED Spring Fling Scholarship Fundraiser
The Annapolis Police Department benefit for the Annapolis Police Scholarship Fund has been rescheduled to 06/11 at the Annapolis Market House. The event starts at 6pm for VIP tickets and at 7pm for standard tickets. Tickets range in price from $45 to $75. There will be food from Paladar, the Market House, Tarin Thai, Mission BBQ and Park Deli.
