In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 58 calls for service and arrested no one.
 
Theft from Vehicle – 202000001286 – 900-999 Van Buren St – 03/22 at 8pm to 03/23 at 7am: A window to the vehicle was smashed and a wallet was stolen from inside.
 
Attempted Theft from Vehicle – 202000001287 – 00-99 Murray Av – 03/22 at 10pm to 03/23 at 8:10am: An apparently unlocked vehicle was entered, but nothing was stolen.
 
Theft from Vehicle – 202000001288 – 100-199 Brewer Av – 03/22 at 7pm to 03/23 at 8:30am: A wallet was stolen from an apparently unlocked vehicle.
 
Theft from Vehicle – 202000001289 – 1900-1999 West St – 03/20 at 5pm to 03/23 at 8am: All four wheels were stolen from a 2019 Honda Civic.
 
Theft from Vehicle – 202000001290 – 900-999 Ridgewood St – 03/22 at 3:30pm to 03/23 at 6:30am: Two vehicles were entered and money was stolen from one of the vehicles. There was no damage to either vehicle.
 
Burglary – 202000001295 – 1100-1199 Tyler Av – 03/22 at 7:30pm to 03/23 at 4:30pm: A detached garage was entered through an unlocked window and an impact wrench and vehicle key were stolen.


 
Telephone Reporting and Police Services - COVID-19
The Annapolis Police Department is implementing a policy of telephone reporting for relatively minor and non-violent crimes. When you call to report a crime in Annapolis your call will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting. If your call is appropriate for telephone reporting an officer will call you and collect the relevant information and provide you with an event or incident number. Our non-emergency phone number is 410-268-4141.

RESCHEDULED Spring Fling Scholarship Fundraiser
The Annapolis Police Department benefit for the Annapolis Police Scholarship Fund has been rescheduled to 06/11 at the Annapolis Market House. The event starts at 6pm for VIP tickets and at 7pm for standard tickets. Tickets range in price from $45 to $75. There will be food from Paladar, the Market House, Tarin Thai, Mission BBQ and Park Deli. Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland


Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program:  The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft.  A small sticker will be placed on your rear window.  This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.  The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.  For more information about the program contact us at police@annapolis.gov.
