UPDATE - Police Investigating Fatal Shooting


On March 15th at 6:23 p.m. we received calls reporting shots fired and then a possible shooting victim in the unit block of Bens Dr. Officers arrived and located an adult male shooting victim outside between two apartment buildings. He was pronounced dead at the scene. It is believed that the shooting occurred outside where the victim was found. There is no further information at this time.   
 
Detectives are investigating this shooting. This is an active and fluid investigation and we urge anyone with information about this incident to contact our detectives at 410-260-3439. You can also call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP and submit an anonymous tip.  If your tip leads to an arrest or indictment you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.

The victim of the homicide is identified as Leslie Saunders, 49, of Annapolis. Detectives are actively investigating this incident and we urge anyone with information to contact them at 410-260-3439.
