In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 126 calls for service and arrested 9 people.
Gun & Drug Possession Arrest – 202000001069 – 00-99 Pleasant St – 03/09 at 5am: As part of an investigation detectives obtained a search and seizure warrant for a home on Pleasant St. Upon serving the warrant detectives located two handguns, one with an obliterated serial number and various amounts of suspected heroin, crack cocaine and marijuana. Reginald King, 29, of Annapolis was charged with possession of these items, he is prohibited from possessing firearms. King was charged with 15 criminal charges related to the possession of the handguns and illegal drugs. He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on $100,000 bond.
Thefts from Vehicles – 202000001135 & 1138 – 00-99 Rosemary St – 03/10 at 11pm: An observant caller reported a male suspect pulling on vehicle door handles and entering unlocked vehicles. Officers located the suspect in the 900 block of West St. He was identified as a 16 year old male from Annapolis. Property stolen from two vehicles was found and the juvenile was charged on a juvenile citation with two counts of theft, two counts of rogue and vagabond and possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was released to a guardian.
Theft of Package – 202000001152 – 00-99 Marcs Ct – 03/11 from 2pm to 9:30pm: A package was stolen after it was delivered to the front door of an apartment.
Spring Fling Scholarship Fundraiser
The Annapolis Police Department is co-hosting a benefit for the Annapolis Police Scholarship Fund on 03/18 at the Annapolis Market House. The event starts at 6pm for VIP tickets and at 7pm for standard tickets. Tickets range in price from $45 to $75. There will be food from Paladar, the Market House, Tarin Thai, Mission BBQ and Park Deli. There will be silent and live auctions featuring a Tailgate Package for the 2020 SJC v. USNA croquet match, a family portrait session with David Hartcorn, Military Bowl VIP experience, and many other packages and gift cards from local businesses. Chief’s Lecture Series – Save the Date
