In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 225 calls for service and arrested 19 people.
Armed Robbery – 202000000840 – 00-99 Juliana Circle – 02/21 at 4pm: On 02/21 at 7:35pm the police department was contacted about an armed robbery that occurred several hours earlier. The adult male victim reported that he was walking in the area when he was approached from behind by three male suspects. The suspects knocked him to the ground, kicked and punched him, and struck him in the face with a handgun. They took his wallet and fled the area. The victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Attempted Thefts from Vehicles – 202000000844 – 1100-1199 Tyler Av – 02/22 at 3:30am: An observant caller reported a man attempting to enter a parked vehicle in the area. Officers located the suspect and confirmed that he had entered two unlocked vehicles and rummaged through them. Nothing was reported stolen from either vehicle. Eric Hinton, 50, of Annapolis was arrested and charged with two counts of rogue and vagabond. Hinton was released from the Jennifer Road Detention Center after posting a $1,000 bond.
Attempted Burglary – 202000000861 – 1200-1299 Madison St – 02/23 from 6am to 3pm: The door to the home was damaged from an unknown suspect attempting to make entry. The home was not entered.
Theft from Vehicle – 202000000863 – 100-199 Hillsmere Dr – 02/23 from 3:20pm to 4pm: A purse was stolen from an apparently unlocked vehicle.
Chief’s Lecture Series

Spring Fling Scholarship Fundraiser
The Annapolis Police Department is co-hosting a benefit for the Annapolis Police Scholarship Fund on 03/18 at the Annapolis Market House.
