In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 107 calls for service and arrested 7 people.
Burglary – 202000000483 – 2000-2099 Forest Dr – 01/30 at 11:54am: The property owners were checking a vacant home when they discovered a window to the home was forced open and a man and a woman were inside. The man and woman left the home and officers located them a short distance away. Victor Ramos Portillo, 36, of Annapolis and Carrie Stiles, 44, of Edgewater were arrested and charged with fourth degree burglary and trespassing. Stiles was also charged with possession of CDS paraphernalia. Stiles was released on a $500 bond. Ramos Portillo is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on $500 bond.
Theft of Mail – 202000000488 – 1300-1399 Stonecreek Rd – 01/30 from 12pm to 2:40pm: Mail was stolen from a mailbox after it was delivered by a postal worker.
Coffee with a Cop
Join us at Starbucks at 122 Main St on 02/13 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm for Coffee with a Cop. Drop in any time during the two hours officers will be at Starbucks. Come with questions or just say hi.
Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, 02/18, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Eastport Working Together is a collective group of residents committed to listening, engaging and investing in the Eastport community by organizing around challenging issues that affect residents. Everyone is welcome.
Spring Fling Scholarship Fundraiser
The Annapolis Police Department is co-hosting a benefit for the Annapolis Police Scholarship Fund on 03/18 at the Annapolis Market House. More details to come.
