In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 105 calls for service and arrested 5 people.
Theft from Vehicle – 2020000000430 – 200-299 Hilltop La – 01/26 at 10pm to 01/27 at 1pm: Tools were stolen from an unlocked tool box in the rear bed of a pick up truck.
Stolen & Recovered Vehicle – 202000000433 – 00-99 Amberstone Ct & Forest Dr near Spa Rd – 01/26 at 7pm to 01/27 at 2pm: A 2017 Chevrolet pick up truck was stolen after it was left apparently unlocked with a key inside. On 01/27 at 10:40pm an officer saw the stolen vehicle being operated on Forest Dr. Officers stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver and sole occupant, Eric Hinton, 50, of Annapolis. Hinton was arrested and charged with unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving without a license. Hinton was released by the District Court Commissioner on his own recognizance.
Burglary – 202000000434 – 500-599 First St – 01/26 from 3am to 6am: A home was entered through a window and money and prescription medications were stolen.

Join us at Starbucks at 122 Main St on 02/13 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm for Coffee with a Cop. Drop in any time during the two hours officers will be at Starbucks. Come with questions or just say hi.
Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, 02/18, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Eastport Working Together is a collective group of residents committed to listening, engaging and investing in the Eastport community by organizing around challenging issues that affect residents. Everyone is welcome.
Spring Fling Scholarship Fundraiser
The Annapolis Police Department is co-hosting a benefit for the Annapolis Police Scholarship Fund on 03/18 at the Annapolis Market House. More details to come.
