In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 255 calls for service and arrested 15 people.
Stolen & Recovered Vehicle – 202000000410 & 418 – 1200-1299 President St and 00-99 Silverwood Circle – 01/26 at 2:56am: An observant caller reported a hit and run accident where a silver Chevrolet struck a parked vehicle and then the driver of the Chevrolet fled out of the vehicle on foot. Officers attempted to make contact with the owner of the Chevrolet without success. On 01/26 at 6:30am the owner of the Chevrolet called to report the vehicle stolen. She reported that she lost the keys to the vehicle during the evening of 01/25 and last saw the vehicle parked in the unit block of Silverwood Circle on 01/25 at 9pm.
Attempted Burglary – 202000000412 – 500-599 Second St - 01/25 to 01/26: An unknown suspect attempted to force open a window to the home. The home was not entered.
Coffee with a Cop
Join us at Starbucks at 122 Main St on 02/13 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm for Coffee with a Cop. Drop in any time during the two hours officers will be at Starbucks. Come with questions or just say hi.
Eastport Working Together
Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, 02/18, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Eastport Working Together is a collective group of residents committed to listening, engaging and investing in the Eastport community by organizing around challenging issues that affect residents. Everyone is welcome.
Spring Fling Scholarship Fundraiser
The Annapolis Police Department is co-hosting a benefit for the Annapolis Police Scholarship Fund on 03/18 at the Annapolis Market House. More details to come.
