January 21 – Eastport Working Together – 1014 President St
In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 110 calls for service and arrested 3 people.
UPDATE Attempted Thefts from Vehicles – 202000000278 – 1400-1499 Damsel La – 01/16 at 3:20am: An observant caller reported a male suspect trying vehicle door handles in the area. Officers located a man in the area and he fled when officers approached him. Officers quickly stopped him and he was identified as the suspect. A total of five vehicles were found to have been entered. The suspect has yet to be transported to the District Court Commissioner for his initial hearing. Once he has been charged the suspect’s name will be released. UPDATE – The suspect was identified as Cristian Arrue Palencia, 20, of Annapolis. He had suspected CDS in his pocket when he was arrested. Arrue Palencia was charged with possession of CDS and five counts of rogue and vagabond. He was released by the District Court Commissioner.
Attempted Thefts from Vehicles – 20200000279 – 00-99 Silopanna Rd and 900-999 Carrollton Av – 01/16 at 9am: Observant callers reported a male suspect trying vehicle doors in the area. Officers had recently seen Cristian Arrue Palencia, 20, of Annapolis in the area after he was released on his previous arrest by the District Court Commissioner. Officers located Arrue Palencia in the unit block of Silopanna Rd opening an unlocked vehicle door. Arrue Palencia was arrested and charged with rogue and vagabond again.
Theft from Vehicle – 202000000287 – 00-99 Taylor Av – 01/16 from 7:30am to 4:15pm: A pair of boots was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
City Offices Closed & No Citizen Fingerprinting
City offices will be closed Monday, 01/20, in observance of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. No citizen fingerprinting will be offered Monday, 01/20. Citizen fingerprinting will resume Monday, 01/27, at 6:30pm.

Harbour House and Eastport Terrace residents, Eastport neighbors, and government and community leaders are invited to attend an Eastport Working Together meeting on Tuesday, 01/21, at 6:30pm at the Rosalie Mitchell Community Center, 1014 President St. Eastport Working Together is a collective group of residents committed to listening, engaging and investing in the Eastport community by organizing around challenging issues that affect residents. Everyone is welcome.
