Theft from Vehicle – 201900006343 – 100-199 Jefferson St – 12/29 at 7pm to 12/30 at 6am: A cell phone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Theft from Vehicle – 202000000014 – 00-99 Boucher Place – 12/31 at 5:30pm to 01/01 at 12:30pm: A green Makita leaf blower and 7.5” circular saw in a blue case and two Makita batteries were stolen from a vehicle. There were no signs of forced entry.

Theft from Vehicle – 202000000024 – 100-199 King George St – 12/20 at 10am to 01/01 at 8:50am: Money was stolen from an apparently unlocked vehicle.

No Citizen Fingerprinting
No citizen fingerprinting will be offered Monday, January 20. Citizen fingerprinting will resume Monday, 01/27, at 6:30pm.

Submitting Anonymous Tips to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland is an organization separate from the Annapolis Police Department. When you phone in or submit your Annapolis crime tip online or through the P3 Tips smartphone app Metro Crime Stoppers receives your tip anonymously and only forwards your tip information to the Annapolis Police Department. No identifying information is ever forwarded to us. Metro Crime Stoppers uses a special coding system to protect your identity, they do not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. If your tip leads to the arrest or indictment of a person for a felony you could qualify for up to a $2,000 cash reward from Metro Crime Stoppers. You can submit a tip by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587), visiting www.metrocrimestoppers.org, or through the P3 Tips smartphone app. The app can be found in the Apple or Android app stores by searching for P3 Tips. You can also call a tip into us directly at 410-280-CLUE (2583).

Watch Your Car Program: The Watch Your Car Program helps prevent vehicle theft. A small sticker will be placed on your rear window. This sticker alerts officers nationwide that your vehicle is not normally driven during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The vehicle may be stopped to verify ownership.
