March 1-March 7: This week we continue our work with the Annapolis Environmental Commission, meeting with them on Wednesday night. They hosted a summit last week to gather input on the Comprehensive Plan. Friday is another regional Housing Needs Assessment meeting, spearheaded by the Maryland Department of Housing & Community Development. Next week we are meeting with the Nitty-Gritty Committee, who have been providing input on policies from the 2009 plan that have not been implemented yet. Most of these are still policies we want to work on in the future, hopefully we can think of new strategies to get them implemented.
We also met last week with the Arts in Public Places Commission, who has been drafting goals and strategies for the plan that center on creating community and meaningful community spaces with art of all types.
