UPDATE - 01/14/19 - Due to the icy conditions this morning, Monday refuse and recycling collection is postponed. Monday's route will be collected on Tuesday and Tuesday's route will be collected on Wednesday. There will be no yard waste collection this week.
Annapolis, MD (01-13-19) – Due to inclement weather, a liberal leave policy will be in effect for all City of Annapolis non-essential government employees on Monday, January 14. Essential employees should report as normal.
Transit services will be operating on a normal schedule. Curbside yard waste and bulk trash collection are on schedule. Annapolis Recreation and Parks “Pip” Moyer Recreation Center and Stanton Center will be open. The status of services may change. Updates will be posted as needed.

14.24.010 - Adjoining occupant to clear sidewalk.
A. A person owning or occupying a lot or part of a lot fronting on any sidewalk shall cause all snow, sleet or ice to be removed from the sidewalk, so far as the lot abuts the sidewalk, within three hours after the snow or sleet have stopped falling; provided, that when snow or sleet shall have ceased to fall between the hours of three p.m. and six a.m., the snow or sleet shall be removed before eleven a.m.
B. A person who violates this section is guilty of a municipal infraction and is subject to a fine of twenty-five dollars for any single, initial violation and a fine as established by resolution of the City Council.
