[ARCHIVED] Bid Posting: Elevated Water Storage Tank Improvements

The Central Purchasing Office of the City of Annapolis is accepting sealed bids for repair and painting services until 2:00 p.m., local time, Thursday, January 24, 2019. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Central Purchasing Office, 161 Duke of Gloucester Street, 1stFloor, Annapolis, Maryland 21401. Late bids will not be accepted under any circumstances.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashier's check, payable to the City of Annapolis, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The successful bidder must provide Payment and Performance bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, replacing elevated water storage tank altitude valves; locating, identifying and replacing isolation and bypass yard valves; upgrading tank instruments; recoating valve vault piping and components at five Elevated Water Storage Tanks.

Interested parties are invited to attend a pre-bid conference at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Farragut Water Storage Tank located off Farragut Road in west Annapolis.  Other water tank sites will follow immediately after the pre-bid meeting.

Bid packages may be obtained from the Central Purchasing Office via email to bids@annapolis.gov or fax request to 410-263-8120.

The City of Annapolis reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to select the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
