The Central Purchasing Office of the City of Annapolis is accepting sealed bids for construction services until 2:00 p.m., local time, Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Central Purchasing Office, 161 Duke of Gloucester Street, 1st Floor, Annapolis, Maryland 21401. Late bids will not be accepted under any circumstances.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashier's check, payable to the City of Annapolis, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The successful bidder must provide Payment and Performance bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the renovating and expanding the women’s restroom/locker room, constructing a 25’x40’ addition adjacent to the apparatus bays, installing new split unit HVAC systems, relocating gas meter, furnishing and installing new rubber membrane flat roof and related site improvements.
Interested parties are invited to attend a pre-bid conference at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Eastport Fire Station, 914 Bay Ridge Avenue in the Eastport area of Annapolis. A site visit will be conducted immediately following the conference.
The City of Annapolis reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and to select the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
