City hosts Back To School Celebration on Saturday, September 8, at Truxtun Park


City to host One Annapolis Back-2-School Celebration at Truxtun Park on Sat., Sept. 8

Annapolis, MD (08-30-18) - On Saturday, September 8, 2018, from 3-7 p.m., Annapolis Mayor Gavin Buckley, the Mayor’s Office of Community Engagement, and Ward 5 Alderman Marc Rodriguez will host a One Annapolis Back-2-School Celebration at Pip Moyer Recreation Center, located at 273 Hilltop Lane, Annapolis, Md. 21403. The free event brings together students, parents, families, and teachers from the Annapolis cluster of schools.

The event will feature activities that celebrate education and health, as well as prizes & surprises for the whole family! Highlighting the event will be a “Three on Three” basketball tournament and kickball games for all ages.

There will also be a used bike giveaway, via raffle. Music and entertainment from local artists and a DJ will add to the family fun. Food & beverages will be free to all attendees and all ages.
