The Central Purchasing Office of the City of Annapolis is accepting sealed bids for refuse, yard trimmings and recycling collection services until 2:00 p.m., local time, Wednesday, October 3, 2018. Bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud in the Central Purchasing Office located at 161 Duke of Gloucester Street, 1st Floor, Annapolis, Maryland 21401. Late bids will not be accepted under any circumstances.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited, furnishing labor, equipment and supervision to provide curbside collection of refuse, yard trimmings and recycling. The Agreement shall be a multi-year term up to seven years.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check, payable to the City of Annapolis, in amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000). The successful bidder must provide a Performance bond in the amount of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($250,000).
Interested parties are invited to attend a pre-proposal meeting at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2018, in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 160 Duke of Gloucester Street in downtown Annapolis.

The City of Annapolis reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to select the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
