City of Annapolis DPW to host public meeting on siting options for pump house associated with downtown flood mitigation project on May 2 at 7 p.m. at Annapolis Elementary
Annapolis, MD (4-25-18) – The City of Annapolis Department of Public Works is holding a final community outreach meeting to discuss siting options of a pump station control building in the Newman Street park. The control building is part of the City Dock Flood Mitigation project, which will address recurrent flooding due primarily to tidal fluctuations. An overview of the project including control building options also will be presented.The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 2, at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria of the Annapolis Elementary School at 180 Green Street. Parking and access to the school will be from the rear parking lot on Compromise Street.
