City of Annapolis – Open on time today
Annapolis, MD (March 22, 2018) – The City of Annapolis government offices will open on time today, March 22. All services, including curbside trash and recycling and transit, are operating on their normal schedule.
Residents who moved their vehicles from city streets into city parking garages should remove their cars from the garages by noon today if possible. Residents should stop by the parking garage office or attendant before returning to their vehicles or press the intercom button at the exit for assistance.
Property owners abutting sidewalks should remove snow and ice as soon as possible to ensure safe passage by pedestrians.
Department of Public Works snow removal crews will continue to clear streets throughout the day.
“Thank you to our city residents for their patience and for reaching out to their neighbors to help address any needs during the storm, including Navy midshipmen who helped shovel sidewalks and driveways downtown and citizens who used social media to offer any assistance to their communities,” said Annapolis Mayor Gavin Buckley. “I also would like to thank the City’s crews for their outstanding response that helped get our town back to normal operating schedule so quickly!”
