Possible Flooding at City Dock

The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is monitoring the potential for flooding in the Downtown/City Dock area over the next few days.

The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory that is in effect from 2:00 PM today until 10:00 PM tonight.

High Tide is around 7:00 PM.

There may be some coastal flooding in the downtown area at these times. Possible impacts include City Dock, Compromise Street at Newman Street, and parking lots in the surrounding areas. Expect temporary road closures in affected areas.

OEM will continue to monitor this situation, and provide additional information and alerts as needed.
