[ARCHIVED] Annapolis Firefighters Raise Money and Awareness for Breast Cancer Research

Mayor Michael Pantelides and Fire Chief David L. Stokes Sr. remind residents that they can support Breast Cancer Awareness Month by purchasing a T-shirt from the International Association of Firefighters Local 1926 during October.

The Annapolis Fire Department will be wearing pink T-shirts throughout the month of October to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research.

The T-shirts are available for the public to purchase at the Taylor Avenue Fire Station, located at 620 Taylor Avenue.  Short-sleeve shirts are $15 each and long-sleeve shirts are $20 each, with all proceeds going to benefit the Anne Arundel Medical Center DeCesaris Cancer Institute.

The shirts can also be purchased at the US Sailboat and Powerboat Shows this month.
