Annapolis, MD (3-13-17) The National Weather Service is predicting Annapolis will receive 3 to 4 inches of snow between tonight and Tuesday morning. Mayor Michael Pantelides is encouraging residents to move their vehicles to the city garages starting at 6 p.m., since parked cars on area streets are the biggest challenge for our snow crews.
City parking garages will open, free of charge, at 6 p.m. for Annapolis residents. Please park your vehicles in driveways so plows can clear as much snow as possible, or consider going to one of the designated parking garages:
- Noah Hillman Parking Garage – 150 Gorman Street
- Gotts Court Parking Garage – 25 Northwest Street
- Knighton Parking Garage – 1A Colonial Avenue
- Park Place - 5 Park Place
If weather conditions worsen, residents may be required to move their vehicles. For plowing information, go to the city website,www.annapolis.gov, and click under Headlines to find Snow Route Maps and emergency routes, along with other important weather related information.
Annapolis Office of Emergency Management is monitoring the storm and will activate Tuesday at 7 a.m. The Annapolis Call Center will also open for all non-emergency calls. Annapolis residents can call 410-260-2211 regarding road conditions or any non-emergency, snow-related questions.
