City of Annapolis Government Offices Closed on Monday, September 4 in Observance of Labor Day

Annapolis, MD (August 30, 2023) – City of Annapolis government offices will be closed on Monday, September 4, in observance of Labor Day.

There will be no refuse collection on Monday, September 4th (Labor Day). Monday collection will shift to Tuesday and Tuesday will shift to Wednesday. Thursday and Friday collection remain the same.

On Labor Day, Annapolis Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule. The Magenta shuttle will operate on a regular schedule. Annapolis Transit offices will be closed, but parking will be enforced. 

The Pip Moyer Recreation Center, the Stanton Community Center and the Kenneth R. Dunn Municipal Pool at Truxtun Park will all be closed on Labor Day. 

WEEKEND ADVISORY:

First Sunday Arts Festival will be held on West and Calvert Streets on Sunday, September 3rd beginning at 11 a.m. The streets and parks on West and Calvert Streets will be filled with artists and music. West Street from Church Circle to Calvert Street will be closed until the event concludes at 5 p.m. For more information, visit www.first sunday arts.com.
