No Harm Conflict Resolution Workshop
 in Robinwood Set for May 18 at 5:30 p.m.

 

Annapolis, MD (May 10, 2023) – The City of Annapolis will host a “No Harm Conflict Resolution Workshop” from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 18 at the Robinwood Community Center. The workshop is an initiative of the City’s No Harm program in conjunction with the Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center. The event is targeted at youth, ages 8 to 18. 


“Participants will learn about the importance of mediation, facilitation and education for the peaceful resolution of conflicts,” said Adetola Ajayi, coordinator of No Harm. “The goal is to improve the quality of life for individuals in the Robinwood community and to create a more peaceful and productive community by helping people communicate constructively to resolve conflict.” 


Sponsoring groups and businesses include Bicycle Advocates for Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, who are donating bikes; Waugh Chapel Dental, donating dental hygiene products; Grump’s Cafe in Annapolis, donating food.
