In the last 72 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 332 calls for service and arrested 17 people.
Theft from Vehicle – 201600005332 – 100 block of Rosecrest Dr – 11/28 at 5pm to 12/02 at 9:10am: Money was stolen from an apparently unlocked vehicle.
Armed Robbery – 201600005347 – 1200 block of Graff Ct – 12/02 at 7:45pm: The adult male victim was standing in front of an apartment building when he was approached by three male suspects. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money. The victim did not have any money and the suspects fled the area on foot.
Attempted Theft from Vehicle – 201600005351 – 1200 block of Madison St – 12/02 at 6pm to 12/03 at 7am: An unlocked vehicle was entered, but nothing was stolen.
Attempted Theft from Vehicle – 201600005356 – 1100 block of August Dr – 11/30 at 9pm to 12/01 at 6:30am: An unlocked vehicle was entered, but nothing was stolen.
Stabbing – 201600005374 – Unit block of West St – 12/04 at 2:15am: The adult male victim reported that he was walking home when he was approached by two adult male suspects. The three began arguing and the two suspects assaulted the victim. One of the suspects had a small knife and cut the victim. The two suspects fled the area on foot. The victim went to Anne Arundel Medical Center with minor injuries.
Stolen Vehicle – 201600005367 – 300 block of Washington St – 12/03 from 1:20pm to 10:45pm: A silver 2016 Toyota Camry, MD reg. 1CE5966, was stolen.
Burglary – 201600005380 – 700 block of Caleb La - 12/03 at 8:45am to 12/04 at 3:12pm: A window was forced open and jewelry was stolen from the home.
Theft from Vehicle – 201600005381 – 500 block of Taylor Av – 12/03 from 10:45am to 5pm: A disability parking placard was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Neighborhood Safety Meeting
The next Neighborhood Safety Meeting is scheduled for December 13th from 6:30pm to 8pm at Annapolis Police Headquarters located at 199 Taylor Av. This meeting is open to anyone who wishes to attend. We will be hosting a Not My Child heroin addiction presentation. Are you concerned that your child might be experimenting with drugs or addicted to drugs? Do you want to teach younger children to never start using? Are you looking for help with treatment? This presentation will include a panel of experts, questions from the audience are welcome.
