In the last 24 hours Annapolis Police officers responded to 112 calls for service and arrested 7 people.
Robbery – 201700000172 – Unit block of Melrob Ct – 01/12 at 9:15pm: The adult male victim was on foot in the area when he was approached by two male suspects. The men asked the victim for money and when he said he didn’t have any one of the men grabbed him while the other took the victim’s wallet and keys from his pockets. The suspects fled the area on foot. Officers searched the area with K-9 assistance, but did not locate the suspects.
Shooting – 201700000173 – 800 block of Brooke Ct – 01/12 at 9:55pm: Officers responded to the area for reports of shots fired. They located an adult male shooting victim. He was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with non-life threatening injuries. Officers searched the area with assistance from K-9 and the Anne Arundel County Air Unit, but did not locate a suspect.
No Citizen Fingerprinting & City Offices Closed
There will be no citizen fingerprinting offered on Monday, January 16, 2017. Citizen fingerprinting will resume on Monday, January 23 at 6:30pm. City offices will be closed on Monday, January 16 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
