WHO: Annapolis Mayor Michael Pantelides, members of Annapolis City Council, Maryland Department of Natural Resources Secretary Mark J. Belton, South River Federation Executive Director Kate Fritz along with representatives from the South River Federation, representatives from the Annapolis Office of Environmental Policy, and local environmentalists
WHAT: Construction of the Bywater Stream Restoration Project will be announced. This restoration project by the South River Federation, through a grant from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, will restore approximately 2,000 linear feet of eroded stream and install upland practices to improve natural water quality. Tours of this active construction site will be given.
